General Game Tips
2) Know and understand the use
of the Decal and Arcane Knowledge Program for getting your spell tapers. You can download it from
our website.
3) Know and use other
messageboard out there including Crossroads of
Dereth
or ACVault. It has
dungeon locations, monster and item info, and forums to post your opinions,
trade goods, events, etc. See Links.
4) Download ACexplorer from
downloads, so if you have to find
someplace, you can (oi, dat Links be important,
no?)
5) Use @permit add <person> and
@consent on for corpse recovery
6) Know who has portal ties
and to where. It helps getting around, and spamming is very amateurish. We
are the Steel, not amateurs!
7) Know the portal circuits, keep portal coords handy if you need them. Especially know how to
get to Baishi quickly via Mayoi, and vice
versa.
8) Know who you mule
with. Do NOT drop mule unless you are totally and completely alone.
If you are in Baishi, logging a
mule to help you should take no more then a tell or two.
9) Learn a bunch of names of
people to call on, for muling,
portals. Do not overdo it€¦about
the 5th time in 2 days you ask me for a subway portal I am going to tell you to
get a tie or make a portal mule or run to Mayoi.

Lying, cheating, stealing, smack, insulting and generally childish behavior are worth
getting drummed out of the Steel. We are pros, act like one.
jump kills, try not to skim, act like you would want someone to act
with you. Amazingly, people will notice your conduct just like you do
theirs. Be ready to help with body recoveries if asked, and don't skimp on giving loot
away. On the flip side, if people persist in being assholes to you, call
them on it bluntly, but not insultingly. If they still persist, your call
on leaving the area in disgust or making their life miserable.

/m was a cruel joke heaped upon monarchs by fiendish Devs, since it does not allow us to /reply. If
you want a quick answer, use /m to say, HI, then do a direct /tell to make it easier for the monarch to get back to you. If
you don't want a
reply, please say
so!
12) use @corpse to get the coordinates of your corpse and @permit add for others to get your items.
