Elysa's Favor RIng Quest
The new Elysa's Favor quest will make the Baron's Amulet obsolete and open up that prized neck slot. It gives +15 health like the baron, and a different +10 to one stat (random)
the Favor comes in 4 flavors, random chance at each.
All are +15 health, dif115, level 20 to use.
+5 end, str or focus, or +20 al. Blue, Red, Yellow or WHite.
The quest starts with the Guard at the Soushi advocate's tower and ends with hollow minions in the new dungeon at the bottom of Fort Witshire. There's a two week timer.
Last note: you don't have to repeat the entire quest to get another ring. just hop into the underground passage and get into the last dungeon, let the last letter and give to the same NPC you did last time.
Your journey begins in any one of the starter towns: Yaraq, Holtburg, Shoushi. However there seems to be some bugs in the game if you start in Holtburg.
Update: January 23, 2002: There is currently a bug in the Elysa's Favor quest where characters starting at Holtburg will not be able to complete the quest by following the instructions of the NPC. Starting the quest in Yaraq or Shoushi, and following it from there should allow one to finish the quest successfully. This should be fixed in the next update.
Our Team began it’s journey in Yaraq. This quest takes upon some new Quest triggers in which your character must speak to NPC’s and complete small tasks in order to complete the quest, thus being “flagged” on each step of the quest.
1. First travel to Yaraq 21.0S 0.8W, Speak with Dame Tsaya.
She will tell you the following: Dame Tsaya tells you, “Hail, adventurer! Queen Elysa recently appointed me to lead the garrison here in Yaraq. She was deeply grieved when the 12 training halls were destroyed and wants to ensure that no harm will come to her subjects here.To that end I have a small task for you: We have heard that a newcomer to this town has moved into a villa that has lain abandoned for many years. No one knows where he came from, although it is said he speaks with a Northern accent. Would you stop by his residence, and find out more about him? He lives to the southwest, near Lubziklan al-Luq’s apple orchards.”
2. Head on over to 23.7S 2.8W, Speak with Stranger in Town.
He will tell you the following: Stranger in Town tells you, “Greetings, my friend, greetings! Welcome to my humble home. The hurly-burly of Marae Lassel proved too much for me, so I’ve decided to move here and call Yaraq home. Blend in. Make some friends among the peaceful townsfolk. In fact, I’ve made a good friend over in the Darkened Halls. He’s recently moved here too. Why don’t you pay him a visit as well? I’m sure he’d be happy to meet you and make you feel right at home.”
3. Now go back to 21.0S 0.8W, Speak with Dame Tsaya.
She will tell you the following: Dame Tsaya tells you, “The stranger actually asked you to visit his new friend down in the Darkened Halls? That dismal place has always been just the lair of some lowly Drudges, to my knowledge…perhaps you should investigate this matter. If you find anything out of the ordinary, I’d appreciate it if you brought it to me for inspection. Something just doesn’t sound quite right.”
4. Now go to 20.7S 0.7E (Darkened Halls) @loc 014401bd
In the bottom you will fight some Hollow minions. One will drop a key every 4 minutes. Use the key on the chest in the room and loot the Human Husk.
5. Now go back to 21.0S 0.8W, Speak with Dame Tsaya.
She will tell you the following: Dame Tsaya tells you, “Yes, what did you discover up in the Darkened Halls?”
You give Dame Tsaya the Human Husk.
