Information:
The Hea Totem Quest (Rubble Quest)
-Elena- of Morningthaw

Prerequisites:
You must be at least level 35 to assemble one of the items and must have access to the Aun town of Timaru (entrance is blocked if you have handed in a bell for the queen quest within the last three weeks). Also, you must have characters or friends that can enter the three hive dungeons which correspond to the totems you would like to use. The restrictions for the hive dungeons are:

Tiny Hive - Levels 35-50
Small Hive - Levels 40-50
Simple Hive - Levels 50-70
Shallow Hive - Levels 60-80
New Hive - Levels 70-90

The Loot:
The reward for the Hea Totem quest is one of three items, the Stave of Palenqual (a magical staff), the Kalindan of Palenqual (a crossbow), or the Hoeroa of Palenqual (a melee staff). Each of these items will have different properties depending on which totems you affix to the base piece, which can be acquired by turning in a totem found on Hea Temenua. To get the totems, you must first acquire rubble from the hive dungeons and then give each piece of rubble to the drummers at the menhir rings.

Recommendations:
For the hive dungeons, bring your acid and piercing protects, as the dungeons are full of olthoi ranging from Olthoi Workers and Soldier to Nobles and Legionaries. Bludgeoning damage is most effective on Olthoi. When hunting Hea Temenua for the Hea Totem, bring your highest base AL armor since Hea Temenua does hollow damage.

Hea Temenua:
In order to acquire the base piece for the items, you must kill Hea Temenua, a level 111 Hea archer that spawns randomly upon the plateau of Marae Lassel (restricted to characters of level 35 and above). Hea Temenua drops the Hea Totem and the two bow pieces needed for the Elari Bow quest. With Hea Temenua spawns Hea Kanokeh and Hea Karenua, who are also both level 111. Hea Karenua drops the Awakener and four Hea Karenua keys, which can be used at the Hea Raider's Cache at 43.4N, 82.5W. Hea Temenua does hollow damage, so leave your robe at home.

The Hea Totem:
The Hea Totem must be turned in to Aun Hareltah in the Aun town of Timaru. Which base piece you get (the magical staff piece, the melee staff piece, or the crossbow piece) depends on the state of the queen quest when you turn in the totem. Unless you are a queenslayer, you can talk to Aun Hareltah after killing Hea Temenua and he will tell you which piece he can give you at that time. You can choose to turn in the totem for that piece or come back later when the queen quest is in a different state for a different piece. If he is pacing in the front of the tent, he should offer you the Kalindan. If he is praying, he should offer you the Hoeroa. If he is standing in the back of the tent, he should offer you the Stave. He will also be holding the item that he offers you (crossbow, melee staff, or magical staff). You may only turn in the totem once, so make sure you know which piece you are getting!

Rubble:
Rubble must be acquired by killing a level 80 BLUE noble at the bottom of each hive dungeon. Each dungeon is relatively simple to navigate, just keep heading down until you arrive in a room at the bottom that spawns nobles. The new hive dungeon requires you to jump off a ledge near the end. At the bottom there is a surface portal and a passageway that leads to the noble room.

The spawn of each blue noble is now static, meaning that it will always spawn in the same place every time. Normally a level 145 purple noble will spawn in that place, but every second or third (or possibly fourth) spawn will be a blue noble. Killing the placeholder purple nobles will make the blue noble spawn. The blue nobles have a higher melee defense and a much higher regeneration rate as compared to the purple nobles. They drop a piece of rubble 100% of the time, which is givable. The rubble is extremely heavy, 7625 BU, and difficu
