Step 1: Find and Kill a Sentient Fragment
Most likely, you will find them in the northern portions of the Dires. When you are ready to attack it, buff up real good and go for it! It will drop a Crystal Sword (not sure of actual drop rate yet...)

A crystalline sword, made out of what appears to be a shard of the original soul crystal. It is cold to the touch, and seems to glow with an inner radience.
