Quest Summary
You find a rumor detailing more information about the Virindi's doings on Dereth. These entail creation of new creatures resembling humans, which we call "Simulacra". In addition to resembling humans, some of the more powerful ones have armor and magic items hitherto unknown (See our writeup on the Asteliary Quest).
Here, your mission is to enter one of the new Virindi Infiltrator Dungeons. There you must kill the Infiltrator Master. Upon his corpse you will find the Helm of the Simulacra. It may be "imbued" with magical energies gained from the Astelian Gem found in the Asteliary.

Full Walkthrough
Enter the Southern Infiltrator Keep (52.3S, 24.9E). It is restricted to characters of level 25-40. Inside you will find:
Drudge Stalkers
Tumerok Warriors and Priests
Crafty and Sneaky Simulacra
Southern Infiltrator Master

Buff before entry; Stalkers may have been drawn by previous entrants to the Entry point.

From the entry go West. You immediately encounter three Stalkers. Continue West, passing several alcoves. The corridor turns SW, then south. You now approach a "+" intersection with more Stalkers. Continue south past the intersection to another room. Dispatch the enemies within and continue south.

You now come to a small maze of E-W and N-S corridors, inhabited by Stalkers. Keep to either wall (left or right), continuing southwest. You end up at an intersection of a westbound and a southbound corridor.

At this point, your destination (The Southern Infiltrator Master) lies generally to the southwest; however, there are several pathways to this goal. Here is one way that seems to involve encountering the fewest monsters. Suggestion: Go slowly, and methodically. At intersections and in rooms you will encounter monsters. As you engage them, other nearby monsters will respond. Try not to get surrounded!

Take the westbound corridor. You should encounter monsters as you approach the next "+" intersection. Draw them to you (if possible), rather than wade in fighting. Corridors from this intersection lead to three adjacent rooms, all containing enemies, sometimes as many as five. A fight at the intersection may lead to an extremely short engagement (for you!), as the nearby spawns swarm over you.

From the intersection, now travel to the north. (Note that this is not the shortest way to your destination; however, it appears to be the safest way to avoid being swarmed). The corridor turns sharply to the west. Enter the next room and slay the enemies within.

Exit to the west; the corridor turns almost immediately to the south. Be wary, as the next room is filled with monsters (as many as six). Enter, and dispatch the monsters within. There are several exits: use the south exit. Again, be wary, as the next room has an even larger spawn. In addition, it is possible that you will encounter Simulacra at that point.

The room you now enter is a large one, with several exits. After dispatching everything within, you may take either the west or south exit to your final goal, which lies to the southwest. Say you take the south exit. The corridor winds around and heads west. You will encounter Simulacra at this point, perhaps in groups of three. Be wary!

Continue west, taking no side corridors. You will come to a small square room with four exits. take either the west or south exit, which now take you to a long E-W corridor. This leads to your destination! Re-buff if needed, but quickly as the adjoining spawns seem to be on a quick re-spawn rate.

Enter the room to the west and dispatch the Southern Infiltrator Master. From his corpse loot the Helm<
