Information: The quest for the Baron of Colier's Amulet of Life Giving gives you the chance to find... keys! Lots of them.
Start your search in the Ghost Town of Colier (56.8N x 38.4E), a short run from Holtburg. You'll immediately be swarmed by Banderlings -- mostly Guards and Scouts, and a few Raiders and Ravers. They've taken over everything! Inside the doorway of one of the buildings (56.7N x 38.6E) you can find your first key on a Banderling Raider: the Small Rusted Key.
Before heading into the mines, you'll need a Cell Key which can be found in a small house on a Drudge Prowler (56.5N x 38.0E). You'll recognize the fellow by his strange looking face and his little green pants. He doesn't look like any Drudge Prowler I've ever seen! Colier is creepy! ;) Both initial keys are on 15 min. spawns.
The Small Rusted Keys opens the door to the mine (Resistance 400). Once inside head left down a ramp. You'll run into a few Banderling Guards. You're looking for an unlocked door that is usually guarded by a Prowler. Once through that door, go through 2 more doors, then up to the cell level of the dungeon. At the end of the hallway on the right, you'll see a locked cell door (Resistance of 700). Use your Cell Key to unlock the door, and follow the corridor until you find an Undead Miner. His corpse will contain the Scratched Key and The Baron's Key (15 min. spawn).
Head back up to the top of the mines by heading down the ramp from the cell level, then taking the first cell door to the right.
When you're back near the entrance, go right this time. The passage heading north will lead you to a room with a Lever and a few drudges. Throw the Lever and it opens a door down the opposite corridor. Once through the door you'll have to hop over a ledge (minimum damage) into a pit.
Head down the hall, then to the right. You're looking for a room with an Undead Miner and a locked chest (Resistance 1000). Kill the miner, and use the Scratched Key to open the chest. The Treasure Chest Key is inside (no-drop, 30 minute spawn). There's also a 24 hour quest timer on the key.
From where you entered on this level, head left and you should see a ramp heading up. You'll encounter a few Banderlings at the top, including a possible Captain. Once near the entrance again, head back down to the left and look for a locked wooden door with resistance of 1000.
Use the Baron's Key to open the door. At your first intersection, take the left path. At the next 3-way intersection, kill the Undead Miner and take the the right corridor. From here, it's impossible to get lost. When you pass through a room that's strangely lit, you're almost there.
You'll have to use the Baron's Key a 2nd time on another locked door. You might stop to buff first, since you're about to encounter a group of Undead Miners and the Baron of Colier himself! (Level 20 lich type). You can actually kill a few of the Miners through the door, so you don't get clobbered when you enter the main room. The Baron is in a separate smaller room with another Miner. Kill them and use your Treasure Chest Key on the chest for your prize!
