Quest Walkthrough
QuestID:  23 Add-on:  11/6/2000 7:51:18 PM
Goal/Purpose:  Get a really cool robe Difficulty:  5      (1 low/10 high)
Information:
There are 3 standing stones you must visit. At each standing stone you will find a transcipt inside the stone. The first stone is just east of the Bandit Castle(66.1N, 51.4E) near the peak of the large mountain; you use the Lich Seal upon this stone which unlocks it, you can then use the standing stone much like a chest, and inside you will find the first part of the transcript.

Next, you must travel to Nydisa Castle Stone(69.2N 15.3E), and from there, head west, south west. Again, near a peak of a mountain, you will find the second standing stone. This standing stone is unlocked, and within it you will find the second part of the transcript.

Last, you must travel to Stonehold(72.0N, 22.0W), from there head north of the Rat Tower to the peak of the closest mountain, atop there you will find the last standing stone which is also unlocked and contains the third and last piece of the transcript.

Now that you have all three pieces of the transcript, combine them into one piece, using them on eachother much like you make arrows in fletching. They will all combine into a single piece.

You must then have the transcript you just made translated by the Translator located in Zaikhal. The Translator will then give you the Gelidite Transcript which you give the lady at the Plateau Village.

When you give her the translated transcript, she will hand you a key to a chest located near the end of Frore which contains many great items, and she summons a portal to Frore itself (you can tie this portal, but you are unable to summon)

Once in frore, there is a drop almost right away. The Drop will give you about 50-70 dmg on the fall if you got decent job(I took 54 I got 120 jump). As long as you don't take multiple dmg, you'll be fine on the jump.

Once at the bottom, may wanna buff cold protection, you take cold dmg in Most of frore. From there take the left Cavern in the cavern, and keep going left. If you do get lost, it's really not that hard to find the way out. I'll leave the rest to you.. Forever, you DO need a lockpick, as for the monsters in there, not much to worry about. They are really weak, except for Gelidite Lords, and we properly buffed, they don't do much.

THe chest with the robe, and other items, is in a room with buildings(small houses), you'll know when you're there. the house with the chest is on the right wall. furtest down.

Now for the stats on the Gelidite Robe.. They suck, to be honest, the robe is crap. It has flame bane 3, and Frost lure 2 on it. Draining 1 mana every 10 seconds.

The robe is no drop, so make sure you're the one who loots the chest, since if someone else does, you cant get it back.

Have fun.. The Frore place is a REALLY awesome dungeon, I had so much fun in it. The monsters in their are a big let down, but the set up of the place rocks.
